How many people in New Glasgow (or even Pictou County for that matter) can afford an electric vehicle? Any further investment in this area would help few individuals
The roads in town are designed for motor vehicles, not modes of active transportation. installing bike lanes to connect major destinations should be a priority in the town. More sidewalks should be built in areas where there aren't any.
The trails are great for active transportation, but they should all have lighting, not just the trail on the West Side so that they are safer.
