What would you like to see in your community in the next 3-5 years?
Modern housing bylaws designed with residents in mind, rather than which dwellings to exclude. This would encourage tiny homes (of less than the current 400sqft requirement), and more development of owner-occupied dwellings, rather than 'real estate developers' who currently control our housing market.
Affordable housing partnerships. The current housing developments, although wonderful are in a high end rental demographic. Many people are struggling to find affordable places to live.
I would like to see more housing developments. There are the two extremes (slums and riches) but no offerings for the average community member
New and exciting events to keep me and my family interested. I don’t want to feel like I have to travel to Halifax to do something fun!

We need more for our youth and families! More excitement and things so do in the evenings/weekends. Outdoor roller rink, community functions, art exhibits, youth spaces, updating our parks and fields.
