Do you think the Town should invest in partnerships with local business to stimulate the local economy?What initiative or projects would you like to see being developed?
Rather than selling off older properties, the town could partner with an entrepreneur/group of investors to repurpose the space into a new affordable commercial space, while the town collects rental revenue. That would allow our economy to grow, create jobs, and create a new revenue source - much more community minded than selling everything off to the lowest bidder. We need long term thinking, long term projects with long term revenue.
