The town of Pictou offered great, local, live music every Sunday evening during the summer months and had a large crowd drawn each time. It would be so nice to have this option on our riverfront that is accessible for all ages and individuals. The concert series offered at the Glasgow Square from local artists is also so important and I hope to see more events being held here :) The Marina area was also another great river front venue for our community to gather to, too.
Continuing with promoting our Arts & Culture ideas..
We have the new gazebo at Rotary Park - it would be a great spot to hold a weekly musical event, much like Mondays in Pictou and ?Thursdays in Westville at Acadia Park.
